Award-winning musician Samthing Soweto is the happiest man on earth after he bagged 9 nominations for the South African Music Awards (SAMA) 2020. The SAMA nominees were recently announced amidst a few snubs. Leading the pack is Prince Kaybee who has 9 nominations, making him and Samthing Soweto the most nominated artists.

Samthing Soweto’s nods include 5 nominations for his album Isphithiphithi, including the Album Of The Year, and Best Afro Pop Album. His collaborations with other musicians such as Mobi Dixon has secured him nine nods in total.
