Nhlanhla Nciza Celebrates Late Aunt’s Daughter

Mafikizolo singer Nhlanhla Nciza is celebrating her late aunt’s daughter’s birthday today.

She took to Instagram and penned, “Fam please help me wish a fabulous birthday to my late aunt’s daughter, my beautiful cuz @helo.glo_ I love and appreciate you so much💖🌺🌸 when you’re not around your absence is felt because just like your mom you have such a beautiful aura 💖

“You are a queen, a force to be reckoned with, you don’t take nonsense from no one and one of the hardest working people I know. Luvuyo and I are so lucky to have you in our lives. I wish you nothing but the absolute best in life. May God grant all of your wishes on this day and always. Love u mad cuzzy”

Nhlanhla recently released a single with Candy Tsa Mandebele Mokwena called “Ikaya”. The song is meant to highlight the contribution that women make in their communities and how important that work is.

Nhlanhla launched her record label Home Base Records.

Announcing the news on her Instagram page, Nhlanhla said, “I’m about to launch my own record company #HomeBaseRecords, for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be counted amongst a few women in SA who own record companies. It has long been a dream of mine and am so happy it’s about to come true. I know the journey may not be an easy one but I’m just grateful for the opportunity. I thank God and my family for supporting me and my dreams always,” 

Nhlanhla also announced the first artist signed under Home Base Records, Thulani, she said, ” Allow me to introduce the 1st artist to be signed by#HomeBaseRecords @m_thulz , he just recently joined Instagram kindly show some love and follow a young brotha”

When Nhlanhla‘s ex-husband TK Nciza closed the record label he owned with DJ Sbu, we thought it was over for Mafikizolo and the duo’s singing careers but the duo thrived even more and gave us hit after hit.

Mafikizolo is with Kalawa Jazmee Records and with that record label, we know we can expect magic. They never get it wrong.
 

The other member of Mafikizolo Theo Kgosinkwe has been having a blast being a father and a husband to his wife Vourné. They met on social media. 

The musician and his wife tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony on Vourne’s 26th birthday. Although they said they had to postpone all the celebrations until this year due to COVID-19 protocols, the couple just could not wait to finally become Mr and Mrs Kgosinkwe. 

They are parents to a beautiful Sky Kgosinkwe. A few months after, they announced that they were expecting. The couple hosted a baby-reveal gender party and Theo asked fans to guess the gender of the baby. 

Speaking to YOU magazine, Theo’s wife said, “I always said my child’s name would be Sky because at school there was this little girl in our class who was just perfect, and her name was Skyler. I added Alexis but I call her Sky.”

Theo added that “Everyone can call her Sky, but Daddy will call her Oratilwe. I want my daughter to know where she comes from and who she is. She’ll always have that background of a Tswana even if she has a sharp nose and curly hair”.

Vourné told YOU magazine, “We’d always pray, and I’d tell God how this baby must look because Theo taught me I should be very specific when I pray.”
