Amo Chidi Is Officially Off The Market

Congratulations are in order for actress Amo Chidi, who has announced that she recently tied the knot.

The actress shared the news on Instagram to a warm reception. Posting photos from her special day, and said she had changed her surname to Mrs N. “Our beautiful wedding day!!! My best friend and I are finally married!!! Allow me to reintroduce myself! I’m officially Mrs N,” she posted.

She penned a sweet message to her husband, expressing her gratitude. “We sang, prayed, laughed, cried, and loved !!!! We cannot thank God for appearing in all of God’s glory on our special day! How much I am loved And, given how God chose my husband for you, I still shed tears !! “

The ceremony took place on November 27th and was fairly small, attended by only their families and close friends. Amo also thanked her friends and family for the love that they’ve shown her. “Thank you to my dearest friends and family for celebrating with us and for all the well wishes!! We did it!” She said.

Amo Chidi rose to superstardom with the character of Reneilwe on Rhythm City. In 2020 she however decided to bid farewell to the show. “It has been an honor to have shared the past 8years of my career with an excellent cast and crew. It is bitter-sweet to say goodbye, you will be greatly missed. My time at Rhythm City has been fruitful and I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow creatively,” she said.

“As I humbly begin the next chapter of my career, I’d like to wish my Rhythm City family continued success,” she said. Another actor to also tie the knot recently is Uzalo star and former Gomora Mzansi actor Ernst Msibi. This past weekend he got married to the love of his life, Nkosingiphile Nana Zondi. The two had been together for more than four years before making things official. In 2020, Enest paid lobola Nana. Their ceremony was intimate due to the strict lockdown restrictions. Their wedding was officiated by Moja Love’s Bishop Makamu.

Chatting to the South African newspaper Daily Sun in 2020, the actor revealed that Nana is his soulmate.

“You know when you’re with someone and you can’t imagine life without them? That’s how I feel about Nana. She’s my soulmate. She’s been with me through thick and thin and no matter what happens, we stick together. That’s why I paid lobola for her. She’s everything I’ve dreamed of,” shared Ernest in part.
