Fikile Mthwalo is back in South Africa after
spending months away from her husband, Atandwa Kani.
The couple have been living on two
different continents while Fikile pursued her drama studies in New York City.
Despite concerns that the long distance apart would affect their relationship, Fikile and her prince are doing just fine.
“I really don’t understand people who think
that somehow I left my husband at home. I didn’t leave him anywhere, in fact he
is right here,” she said in April, while using her hand to mimic a beating
heart under her shirt.
The saying “absence makes the heart grow
fonder” rings true for the pair, and they have been nothing but smiles since Fikile’s return this week.
They both shared cute pictures and videos of
their reunion on their Instagram accounts.
So sweet!
