The fight against rhino poaching has been pushed up a notch following the addition of Miss South Africa Marilyn Ramos to an awareness campaign.
Ramos has been named as an ambassador for the Elandela Rhino Survivor Trust, along with national off-road champion Louwrens Mahoney.
The pair travelled to Elandela Lodge in Hoesdpruit over the weekend to learn more about the critically endangered animal, while at the same time posing for photographs with an injured rhino as part of their duties as ambassador.
