BET Africa Will Not Air Toll Ass Mo And Mome Interview

BET Africa has successfully read the room and following quite the story storm they have announced it will not air the interview with Toll Ass Mo and Mome Mahlangu in the upcoming season of Behind The Story with Pearl Thusi.

The channel had previously released a statement addressing the inclusion of Toll Ass Mo despite him being accused of sexual assault by model Lerato Moloi but the was not enough to calm the storm on social media.

In a turn of events, the channel has confirmed that interview will not be aired on the channel “out of respect for the current environment, legal proceedings and the basis of impartiality.
Well, it seems the efforts of the kangaroo court have paid off!

The move by BET Africa follows Mome finally breaking her silence and addressing the allegations levelled against her husband. In her statement, posted on Instagram, Mome made it clear she is supporting her husband and clarified that her silence is not an admission of guilt but “choice to respect the law.”
