A visibly saddened Musa Mthombeni tried to hold his tears back as he sent out a moving tribute to his close friend Akhumzi during Monday night’s episode of Trending SA.
Many didn’t expect Musa to be working last night considering the recent passing of his best friend and confidant but the young doctor held his tears back and pulled through ’til the end as he shared his fondest of memories together with Akhumzi.
This is part of Musa’s tribute to the late Akhumzi.
“In my heart you hold a place that no one could ever fill, it broke my heart to lose you but you didn’t go alone. A part of me went with you. Akhumzi I’m angry at you for not saying goodbye, but there’s nothing that I can do about that now, all I can hope for is that you’re at a better place and looking down at us and smiling like you always did, I love you my friend.”
