Mlindo on his ex leaving him for a blesser: "It was painful. I was crying all the time"

When art imitates life it always comes becomes more interesting for the fans.

Musician – Mlindo has one of the most popular songs played on the radio and at almost every other gig or gathering. His song, AmaBlesser is a sombre recollection of how his ex-girlfriend dumped him for a man with more money than he has.

While many thought that the song was just that, a song, it turns out that Mlindo really did have his heart broken by a girl he loved.

Speaking to Tshisa Live, Mlindo shared how shattered he was to have been ditched by a person whom he thought really loved him.

“I wrote the song like three years ago when a girl left me for a blesser…..it was painful, I was crying all the time. I didn’t even want to leave the house. I just wrote music because it was the only way I could heal, I don’t want anyone to go through that.”

Mlindo further told the publication that he would never be a blesser as he knows the pain of being the other guy who gets dumped.

But in other positive news, Mlindo has just released his debut album Emakhaya which is already receiving a lot of positive reviews from the industry.
