Lasizwe has spoken out once again, following the overwhelming amount of responses from his tweet shared earlier today. The social media star has assured his followers that although he has received derogatory messages from people from Zimbabwe, he is still standing in solidary with the country, amidst the injustices faced by them presently.

He went on to explain that the homophobia received from his African brothers has affected him more than he anticipated and prays that there is an end to it soon. He stated, “I wish for the violation of human rights in Zimbabwe to STOP and the rights of the LGBTQI+ to be treated equally! WE ARE HUMANS TOO!”.
Zimbabwean followers thanked him for his message of solidarity, and assured him that not all citizens have homophobic beliefs.
