South African media personality, Lasizwe Dambuza, shared an emotional tweet on Wednesday, 22 July 2020, which saw him wishing that his mother was still around to witness his rise to fame. The YouTube sensation, who lost his mother in 2016, has recently been announced as one of the stars of Netflix’s original movie, Seriously Single, which also serves as his first movie role to date.

The career milestone called for him to become emotional, as he revealed that he wished he could tell his mother about his movie role. He tweeted, “Treasure your mother’s while they are still alive! I wish I could say “Mama, Your son is gonna be on Netflix! “Damn! I wish were you still alive! Mxm eish.”
Fans shared their sympathies with him and expressed how proud they were to see his consistent rise to stardom.
