Scoop Makhathini ruffled some major feathers with his ‘advice’ to rap OG’s to take a break from making music or releasing any project that is music related.

He called out a few rappers including Cassper Nyovest, AKA and Kwesta and told them they should take a year off as they don’t bring anything new in terms of storytelling or deliverance.
Cassper clapped back and said that advice does not apply to him. AKA is not here for Scoop’s ‘nonsense’ when he tweeted “Scoop is my brother, my guy, but sometimes he can really talk nonsense.”
Kwesta also told the radio presenter that he is not going anywhere anytime soon.
“Scoop. The newer guys are fighting this fight and killing shit without anyone taking a so called break. Don’t shit on their grind just to be seen as a rep for their wave. They don’t need you to steal flowers for them. That’s stealing credit from them. Nobody moving bro. Its love,” he responded.
