AKA’s online subscription TV Channel has received mixed reviews since its launch in May 2020. With many people suffering the financial impact of COVID-19, the channel has not garnered as many viewers as originally anticipated.
Understanding the concerns of his viewers, AKA announced that following the next upgrade of the app, the channel will be made free for everyone. He stated, “Ultimately when we launch our new upgrade of the app coming soon, this content will be FREE for those who want to watch #AKATV but might not be able (or not willing) to pay for the FULL subscription. #AKATV”.
Although AKA’s gesture appeared to be for the benefit of his fans, trolls continued to bash him and disregarded his initiative to cater to all of his fans.
