AKA Slams Those Who Accuse Him Of Sharing His COVID-19 Results As Propaganda
After news broke that AKA, had tested positive for COVID-19, the rapper has faced backlash from followers who have accused him of sharing his results as a form of propaganda. In response to a tweep who stated, “The way celebrities are being used to spread propaganda and the lies…”, AKA quickly responded with, “The problem is you think celebrities are immune to contagious diseases like COVID-19. You worship them too much.”

AKA then when on a tirade where he acknowledged the mocking messages her has received in his mentions, claiming that people are continuing to not take the virus seriously. He stated, “Lots of jokes flying around in my mentions … that’s okay. Just remember that people are actually DYING. As in, DEAD … never coming back again from this thing.”

The rapper has continued to endorse getting tested for COVID-19, and urged South Africans to become aware of the reality of the virus.
