Zethembiso "Zethe" Mdletshe is truly the next Mzansi’s superstar, the Vodacom next level competition winner has got her foot in the door and plans on broadening her opportunity by venturing into other spheres of the industry.
Zethe who is a fresh face in the music business is already showing signs of a professional artist, after having recently lost her father who had fallen ill for a while and was still able to perform, Zethe shared with ZAlebs in a recent interview that she used her father as inspiration during the performance saying:
“I had to switch up my mind in order for me to focus, get my mind in the state of - his looking down on me”
The 24-year-old courageous artist who has a degree in music has just been introduced into the real music world and is already beaming with hope as an independent artist and says she plans on doing more than just music with this opportunity given.

“I learnt that it’s possible to do your thing and stand on your own...I want to give myself this time to learn about the industry on my own”
Zethe went on to add that she plans on doing modeling or even the broadcasting world.
“I like modeling, I like radio...I like a lot of things. I also want to venture into other artforms. I’m an ambassador for Rocka Headphones...I really want to look into being featured in brands...I’m really looking forward to knocking more doors…”
Zethe won R1-million worth of prizes and had a great impact on the viewers and judges, she has a many people anticipating her body of work and Zethe says that she’s on top of it as she is investing her prize money in her EP.
“I’m recording with Euphonik, we’re working on a track that we worked on during the competition, I’m going to finish things I was performing at the finale...then start working on my EP.”
