We don’t mean to jinx her chances of walking away with the awards, but you have to admit, Amanda is on a roll.
Who would’ve thought that the girl from P.E who blew away the Idols SA judges with her rendition of David Guetta’s Titanium during her auditions, would be causing a frenzy two years later since she embarked on her journey on Idols?
Amanda Black may not have won Idols SA (which we all would agree, was the best thing that could ever happen to her career) has been having a remarkable time since releasing her debut album Amazulu under Ambitiouz Entertainment.
Amanda Black has 8 nominations under her belt and we think that she might walk away with most of the awards on the night.
Interesting fact, Amanda has only been living in Johannesburg for a year, but the success she’s rope in is amazing.

So why do we think Amanda will win most if not all the awards at the Metro FM Awards?
1. Those who never won Idols SA always become an even greater success than the actual winners

People love seeing artists who didn’t win Idols SA succeed in the industry without the title that comes with winning the competition. Yes, Idols SA may have been the tool to launch them into the music industry, but it just shows that you really don’t need to be an Idols SA winner to make your own mark this music business.
2. She’s an Ambitiouz Entertainment soldier

Ok, so we can’t ignore the fact that Ambitiouz Entertainment artists stay winning since last year they’ve all been out performing artists associated with a record label. Remember the number of awards Fifi Cooper and Emtee scooped at last years awards? They should’ve just called those the Fifi and Emtee Awards, to be honest. History might just repeat itself with Amanda under the label too.
3 Kids love her music
If the kids love it, chances are the parents will love it too.
Look what happened when Emtee released his single Pearl Thusi, all the kids loved that song!
4. She moves crowds
As an artist, when you’re able to move crowds like this, you’ve done a real great job that deserves recognition by getting awarded with countless accolades.
Amanda’s name belongs on stage and may it remain there forever. We’re only a few weeks away from the Metro FM Awards excited to see if our prediction will be a reality for Amanda.
