‘Scoop Makhathini‘, as he is commonly known in these media circles, was probably on intention mode when he referred to his girlfriend, Akhona Carpede as his ”wife to be”.
Whilst these words went through alot of people’s heads, some of us were left wondering if their relationship has escalated on that level. Are these two engaged?
In a recent Instagram post, Scoop wrote the following:”MY WIFE TO BE SAID SHE MISSES HER MOST FAVORITE SEAT 💺 IN THE WORLD. I GOT YOU BABY.”
Siyabonga has never been one to publicly display his romantic partners, however his loyal and curious followers must have witnessed a shift in his usual stance because he regularly gives shout outs to his current girlfriend.
A few years ago, Scoop posted on Twitter that he finds it hard to be in a monogamous relationship and displayed no shame with that belief.
Fast forward to the year 2018 in an interview with the now discontinued SABC 3 talk show, Real Talk with Anele, where he spoke quite openly about how he never thought he would finally have a love like he does with her girlfriend, Akhona, who has gained her own recognition by creating a blog and hair studio that focuses on all things natural hair.
Was Scoop intentional with his wording or he’s just a guy in love? Only time will tell.
