Muzart 3

When it comes to South African bands we're spoiled for choice from the likes of Beatenberg, The Soil, Freshly Ground, Mafikizolo etc. But amongst these bands there is one we feel needs to be given a lot more credit.

Apart from the band members breaking our hearts in 2015 after they're break-up announcement in 2015 which left the band's future in the capable hands of its lead vocalist Rorisang and band players Tazzy and Victor.

There is no denying that Muzart has given us some of the best songs to ever come from Mzansi.

They've blessed us with feel-good songs like OhYeah! Long Time, The Party After, Jukebox....look we could go on and on about the great music the band has brought into our lives.

And if you've ever had the pleasure of watching them live, you know that Muzart always brings their A-game on stage.

However, since early 2016 we haven't heard any new music from the band. The last single we heard from the multi-talented act was when they released, Don't Take Your Love back in February 2016.

Since then, it's lead vocalist Rorisang has been focusing on her career in TV and radio. She is the presenter of Mzansi Insider and has since managed to get a slot on Touch HD.

As for Tazzy and Victor, well, they're well-respected music producers who have worked closely with the likes of AKA.

In fact, Tazzy, alongside AKA & Master A-Flat are the producers behind AKA's hit single, Caiphus Song.

Oh, and Tazzy is the guy wearing the white t-shirt in the picture.

However, just because the band has been quiet, doesn't necessarily mean they haven't been working on their next project right?

Tazzy, who enjoys uploading videos of him playing the keyboard or making beats, a few weeks ago played this beat as he mumbled a few lyrics in the background.

We sincerely hope that this is Muzart's next single, we need their music in our lives.

2017🙌🏾
