Uzalo is one of South Africa’s most loved telenovelas, the show has been on the air for a couple of years and they have just found themselves in the history books.
In September, the show reached a monumental 10.2 million viewers – making it “the most watched television programme in the history of South African TV.
“The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is delighted with the performance of one of its flagship television programmes Uzalo, which is currently being broadcast on SABC1,” the statement read. Taking to Instagram, the official Uzalo page announced the news:
