Multi-award-winning pop artist Tresor has opened about his heart-wrenching hijacking ordeal. The singer posted a statement on his social media platforms detailing how the incident unfolded.
He divulged that on Thursday evening that he was hijacked while dropping off another artist. He explained the heartbreaking story when he wrote, “Last Night, whilst dropping off fellow artist Batundi from my label Jacquel Music Group, in Linden – I was involved in a car hijacking and we were both kidnapped and robbed in Linden.”
According to the musician, the incident happened at around 20;30 and they were detained at a hostel in Soweto until approximately 4 am.
Tresor revealed that they were held at gunpoint and handcuffed with his signee from his record label. He said they were kept in a car boot for a few hours while the perpetrators were cleaning out their bank accounts.
Luckily Tresor and his colleague escaped unharmed but he has appealed to anyone who might have information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to come forward,
