Toya Delazy Survives Pre-Cancer Scare

Internationally acclaimed musician, Toya Delazy shared a personal and empowering post on Instagram. The Pump It On singer revealed that during her Pap-smear session at the hospital, precancerous cells were found in her body but a quick surgery was performed to remove them.

The 29-year-old hoped that her followers would regularly get themselves medically checked out because cancer is real.

“Precancerous cells were discovered & destroyed 👽 Ladies PLEASE take your PAP Smears seriously. IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE – I’m recovering at home♥️ ♥️ ♥️ Guess uNkulunkulu is not done with me yet👁️ THANK YOU.”

In the year 2019, a picture of Toya Delazy looking rather gaunt went viral.

Social media users went into a panic, as word on the streets was that Toya was heavily messing around with drugs. The singer later rebuffed these wild rumours and mentioned that the stress of having to come to terms with the loss of her grandmother, Irene MaMzila – Buthelezi was taking its toll on her.
