Choreographer and founder of Rocking in heels Nkateko ‘Takkies’ Maswanganye had a lot of buzz during her pregnancy as we saw her dancing on the treadmill and dancing in heels while still pregnant. And now that their bundle of joy is finally born, Takkies says that she is ready to have another one.

In a recent interview on Touch HD, Takkies shared how she began her career in dance saying that it all started with just watching music videos.

“I started taking professional dance classes at the age of nine, but before that, I used to copy music videos...I used to copy...all their moves and all of that and my mom always said let's take you to dance classes and all of that…I saw this hip-hop class, actually at my school, and I joined that hip-hop class they also trained modern...and then from there the rest is history…”

The former Fly Chix member went on to share how the ‘Rocking in heels’ journey began.

“I started in 2013; it’s a concept that I worked on for about a year, I wanted to start a dance class but also help women at the same time. I use dance to help women love themselves, feel confident, teach them how to walk in heels...just help them feel good... as women we go through so much, we don’t communicate, and I feel like my dance classes are a way of escaping."
