Following the notion above, is Uzalo’s Nompilo Maphumulo. The Kwa Zulu Natal born actress, is branching out in the world of music.
Gqom is currently the hottest genre and a lot of musicians are riding on it. Nompilo is also carving out her music career in the exciting sounds of gqom.

When asked about her newly released single, ‘Sebenzela Imal’i. The multi talented actress shared the following:
‘‘I love music, dancing and entertainment. I also love to be around vibrant people.”
In South Africa, we’ve seen quite a number of actors make the bold transition to music.
One notable transition of all time has to be Sjava. From slaying the acting fraternity, including television shows such as, Zone 14, uGogo noAndile and even went on to be a judge at South African Film and Television Awards.
