Isithembiso actress and model Nandi Mbatha is on cloud nine because next week she will be jetting off to Paris to attend the prestigious Paris Fashion Week 2020. Speaking to Isolezwe, Nandi said she is excited about her future plans even though she has lost her job on Mzansi Magic’s Isithembiso.
The renowned actress has been with the show since it made its debut and she has won the hearts of many with her down to earth personality and great acting talent. The drama series was canned after 3 seasons due to a decline in viewership. This sent shockwaves to many and resulted in job losses and Mbatha says she was extremely disappointed.
” I was very hurt when it was announced that the show is coming to an end because I gained prominence in this show and it exposed my talent, but life has to carry on as now I’m more focused in the fashion industry and people who have seen me dressed in other designers clothes they love them,” she told Isolezwe.
The star has a great fashion taste and her timeline is always flooded with beautiful images from her photoshoots. She recently turned heads at this year’s Sun Met in Quiteria Aterlier – Nandi’s brief to her designer was that she wanted a showstopper dress, one that would turn heads – and she hopes for the same in Paris.
This young lady is well on her way to becoming a powerhouse & we can’t wait to see her blossom into a superstar. We look forward to seeing her gracing the international stage with no doubt she is going to kill it.
