Legendary kwaito musician, Mshoza and football star, Anele Ngcongca, have officially come out as a couple. This union raised quite a few eyebrows as Mshoza is fresh out of an abusive marriage, while Anele has recently called it quits with his partner of nine years and mother of his child.
The unlikely pair spoke exclusively to Drum magazine about about their relationship.
Speaking about Anele, the Kortes hitmaker told the publication: “It feels right, he is the one. It feels right this time.” She added that she’s found someone who is respectful.
Anele also spoke to the weekly publication, emphasising the aspect of respect, something he was yearning for in previous relationships.
We’re not surprised to see Mshoza giving love another try. Just a few months ago, the musician made it clear that she still wants to get married.
She said explained on Afternoon Express: “Love has done nothing to me. It’s the type of guys that I go out with. So, I can never give up on love until maybe love says, ‘look, I’m the one that’s doing you wrong. Give up.’ I’m not gonna give up.”
