Did you know that Miss Lira initially planned to only be in music for 5 years, yes just five. The industry is definitely addictive because 13 years later, we are more in love with her than ever before.
We can't express enough what it is about South African women but more and more of them are starting to look younger and younger. Is it that melanin, or maybe it's just that natural African butter, whatever it is we need more of it because we all want to age like this. Lerato Kohl is an example of how black really don't crack. Album after album, show after show, Lira leaves her fans wanting more and the more they want the more she gives. Since securing a great deal with Lux alongside fellow beauties and songstresses Nhlanhla Nciza and Moneo, miss Lira as we should refer to her is more young and radiant than ever.

Maybe debt ages us don't you think? In an interview with Thembisa Mdoda on TouchHD in July, Lira opened up about how she has been living debt free for over a decade, imagine a whole decade as an adult and having no debit orders, that is a real wow! Bare in mind she has been apartment shopping for the last few months in Los Angeles, she's about to drop another cash payment really soon.

On September 9, Lira and her husband Robin Kohl celebrated eight years of marriage and they are happier than ever. Many have asked Miss lira why she hasn't had any children yet, but the songstress says she and her hubby are okay with not having any, for now.
When asked about the subject of kids on Gareth Cliff's show on CliffCentral, she said: "We [and Robin] love what we do and it takes up so much of our time, and I guess when you want kids it's because, I guess, you're ready for it. You feel like you're at a time in your life where you can accommodate kids." And I don't see that we are in that space. I picked it up when we plan at the beginning of the year, we're all excited like 'yeah, this is what we're gonna do'. Kids don't even come up like it just does not come up."
Fellow musical legends might have taken a few jabs at Lira in past and questioned her choice to marry outside of her race, but Lira and Robin couldn't be happier together.

One thing we are absolutely love about Lira is her her youthfulness, weather it be on stage, in studio or at an event, the feel good singer knows how to stay youthful inside and out. Lira has never been a woman of weaves and we like her with her short hair but her most recent hair style is our favorite on her. She doesn't look a day over 30 at all, such beauty.
Her dance moves are another reason we love her live shows. She tends to drop a few dance on and off the stage, have you seen her move? You can tell she's an Eastrand girl based on these moves.
Miss Lira and her looks just makes us wonder, will your faves look this fabulous at 38?
