Minnie Dlamini was in New York this week for a meet-and-greet at the Madiba restaurant in Brooklyn.
The restaurant even switched up the menu for the event.
Judging from Minnie’s social media posts, the meet-and-greet was a major success.
“[It] was awesome seeing my fellow South Africans tonight,” she captioned a picture of herself, looking like the cat that got the cream.
The TV and radio personality met American actor Malik Yoba and couldn’t resist taking a picture with the star outside the venue.
Celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen, who was behind Zendaya’s much talked about Met Gala wig (you know, the one similar to Pearl Thusi's 'Jackie Chan' hairdo?) also came out to support Minnie’s Madiba Takeover too.
Minnie is not the first South African to host an event at the restaurant.
Bonang Matheba held her own meet-and-greet during a trip to “The Big Apple” in February.
Queen B’s fans were quick to point out that Minnie was copying her.
Really? There is enough room for everyone on the road to global domination, ladies and gents.
We wish we had Minnie's life! A few months ago she was living it up in Zanzibar, and now she is back in NYC.
