Luthando “LootLove” Shosha has spoken about her journey in the entertainment industry.
The TV personality, who got her big break in TV after winning SABC1’s Live presenter search, spoke to Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral about, amongst other things, how she handled being compared to her then co-presenter, Bonang, on the music show.
She said: “I was okay with that because, I mean, you can’t fight that. I mean if you step into such a big platform, with a very big personality behind it, you can’t really expect people to not compare you.”

LootLove said the only thing you can do is to “do you” and hope it works for everybody.
She added: “Cause I mean, I wasn’t a loud sort of extra presenter, I was very calm so eventually people were okay with me being calm and her being loud and it worked out.”
