South African songbird Zonke Dikana was trending on the timeline – and for a change – it was all for the right reasons!
If you were expecting a controversial comment or clapback from the singer or even news of her suffering a personal tragedy – you’re mistaken! All the hype was all about us appreciating the star’s talent and beauty.
And we have to admit it, Zonke is a breath of fresh air in a time where tweeps need it the most!
It all began when a fan ran a poll asking fellow tweeps which singer would they pick to sing at their future wedding. They were given four options; Zonke, Lady Zamar, Lira or Zahara.
The results were unanimous; Zonke was a firm fan favourite and took a significant lead ahead of her competitors.
Many fans explained the many reasons why they picked the soulful singer. And with that, Zonke appreciation day was born!
Zonke responded to all the praise in pure class: with lots of humility and appreciation!
