These reports obviously shocked many, including their fans, because of their messy break-up. In 2018, Gigi took to social media to share how she was abused by her man.
She wrote on Twitter: “I was abused of cheating, ratting everything when I stopped my world while my friends and colleagues alike told me stories about your past. I believed you. Now after finishing off my spirit, you do this?”
However, it looks like the former lovers have sorted out their differences.
Sources told Sunday Sun that they knew that Gigi and the DJ would find their way back in each others arms because their love was strong.
Citi Lyts told the weekly publication: “Yes, Gigi and I are on good terms. We are good friends and have been cool since November. We had our differences. We both lost the one person who we loved dearly – PRO.”
He continued: “I take fault for neglecting her while dealing with my loss.”
Gigi corroborated Citi’s sentiments: “We are cool. At this point I am pushing myself and my career. I guess when we are going through a lot we act out of character. I have forgiven [him] and moved on with healing myself.”
