Being an entertainer can be quite consuming, especially if you’re an all-rounder like Gail Mabalane who dabbles as an actress, model and businesswoman. One would imagine that her schedule is always filled with endless business meetings but what she always puts first is her family.

When a woman becomes pregnant in the entertainment industry, they tend to get shunned upon and told that they need to choose which role they want to play as the notion is that they cannot juggle both, but Mrs Mabalane has proven on countless occasions that you can still be a wife, a mother and still slay in whichever industry you’re in.

In an interview on Afternoon Express, Gail said that being in ‘mommy-mode’ and ‘wifey mode’ are one of the things that she would not trade for anything.

Gail has two adorable children with former TKZee rapper, Kabelo. The couple has a four-year-old daughter, Zoe and their son Khumo who recently turned one.

Mrs Mabalane went on to write that she couldn’t believe that it had been one year already since the arrival of their son Khumo: “Can’t believe my little man is 1 already! Where does the time go? Happy Birthday, Khumzi. What a blessing you are! God is so good!!! I’m getting in loads of kisses while I can.”
