Early last year, the producers of one of eTV’s most-watched drama series, Scandal!, announced that the show had reached over 5 million viewers since they had begun airing, and now they are celebrating yet another spike in viewership.
Actress, Kgomotso Christopher, who plays the role of Yvonne on the series, received a number of congratulatory messages this morning after she took to social media announcing that the show had reached 6 million viewers.
“Say what…6 million what???…this calls for a celebration, mos! Thank you, thank you to our beloved @etvScandal viewers for watching & helping us reach an historic 6 million viewers!!! As Yv would say, “Habashwe baloyi!!!” #etvScandal” she wrote.
Though the producers have not yet commented on the news, the actors have expressed their excitement about the news on their social media pages.
