April seems to be the month of nostalgia. If we’re not reminiscing over the beginning of Proverbs love affair with hip-hop we’re remembering uSpikiri’s hit making genius. Now Kalawa’s taking us way back by bringing back Bongo Maffin.

Also, when we saw them at the One Source Live Art and Music Festival we knew something was coming. And indeed, it has. Oskido took to the Insta streets to announce that Kalawa Jazzmee had just signed a partnership agreement between Bongo Maffin’s own Bongo Music imprint, breaking away from the label-artist relationship they initially had.
We’re excited to see the fruits of this new chapter in the groups movement. Congratulations to all the parties involved.
