Boity Thulo has publicly revealed that she is indeed a sangoma, following weeks of speculation.
The TV personality took to Instagram to share a picture of herself dressed in sangoma attire.
She captioned the snap: “They Called. I Answered. The Proudest, most Incredible day of my life. A Beautiful Gift that I will never take for granted.”
Boity confirmed a week ago that she recently underwent sangoma training, but refused to elaborate further, saying it was a private matter.
It seems Boity is finally ready to share her journey as a traditional healer with her followers.
While some were not impressed that the 25-year-old Christian accepted her ancestral calling, others were pleased that she honoured her ancestors.

It is unclear whether Boity will officially practice as a sangoma, or what type of traditional healing she trained for.
She came under fire in May for wearing a sangoma outfit on her music show, Club 808.
Boity said at the time that she was just celebrating Africa month.
But it appears she just wanted to privately undergo her training without any gossip.
