We have just learned about the passing of Big Nuz member R Mashesha. The sad news was confirmed on Twitter by DJ Tira. This comes after months of death hoaxes about Mashesha on social networks.
Back in February, rumours about his death trended on Twitter, however, Tira was quick to dismiss the claims. Unfortunately, this time around, the hitmaker had to break the news to fans.
It is with deep sadness that I inform you of R. Mashesha’s death. Sibusiso Khomo passed away today (Friday 07 August). RIP sosha 😭💔.

Speaking on Live Amp, Tira said Mashesha had an operation. “Unfortunately there were compilations with the operation and unfortunately R Mashesha is no more.”
He said details about funeral arrangements will probably be made known on Monday, after speaking to the family. Tira also added that they have cancelled all Big Nuz events that were planned for this weekend.
Tira encouraged fans to buy the Big Nuz album, which will be available on Saturday (8 August).
