We’re so excited about the new season of South African Idols.
The show, which is back for season 11 on Sunday evening, will see thousands of hopefuls chasing their dreams in the hope of becoming Mzansi’s next music sensation.
The great news is that the show will be two hours long, instead of an hour and a half. We also can’t wait to see new judge Somizi Mhlongo in action. We had a chat with him recently and he told us that he’s excited as anything.
“I’m not nervous at all. If anything, I’m excited and I’m looking forward to showing the public this other side of me. If I had to be nervous, I think it would be on a positive note because I can see how people are excited to have me jump on board. They’re not looking for mistakes, they’re looking forward to being entertained and that’s what I’ve done so far,” he said.
