#TheQueen Spreads The Word On COVID- 19 Precautionary Measures
The coronavirus outbreak has Mzansi on high alert with many people taking precautionary measures to help curb the spread of the virus.

On Sunday, evening, President Cyril Ramapahosa announced that the country is in a ‘State of Disaster’ due to the increased number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country.

Ramaphosa also announced travel restrictions within the country and its border, the closing of schools as of Wednesday, March 18 was also announced.

Awareness of how people can prevent the spread of COVID-19 has increased on social media and on TV.

Popular Mzansi Magic drama, The Queen which has over a million viewers has also made sure to spread the message wide and far.

Showing that The Queen cares, the drama added a scene where Jerry Maake portrayed by Shona Ferguson advised Thato (Xolani Mayekiso) on making sure the Corner House applies the correct precautionary measures to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The coronavirus is, unfortunately, not a joke and awareness is important in curbing the spread of the virus.

Should more of your favourite shows, include COVID-19 awareness.
