Zoleka Mandela Welcomes Baby No 5

…And a baby makes five. The granddaughter of the late political stalwarts, Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela Mandela, has given birth to a beautiful and bouncy baby girl named Zenzile Mutoba Bashala.

Zoleka Mandela has been documenting her pregnancy journey on her highly active Instagram account.

If Zoleka’s Instagram page is anything to go by, the arrival of baby Zenzile was highly anticipated. When one peruses through Zoleka’s journey on Insta, nuances of happiness and positivity are immediately felt and it is easy to recognise why this little bundle of joy is a blessing to the Mandela and Bashala clan.

Anyone that has followed Zoleka Mandela’s life’s journey thus far can possibly point out that her life has been marred with challenges, tracing back to her younger years, which include sexual and substance abuse, surviving breast cancer, losing her two children (Zenani and Zenawe Mandela) and Winnie Madikizela Mandela, whom she affectionately refers to as her ”number one”.
