“The last time I heard from Zola was when he was on #PodcastAndChill with MacG. No one checks on iGrootman, literally… but wait, just wait,” said a concerned fan who is worried about the people around Zola.
Nota’s response did not make things better as he alleged that Zola is not doing well at all and does not look good as well. Alluding that it’s because he has 7 kids.
He’s not doing well nor is he looking good. He has 7 kids!

He also said that his 7 kids are being taken care of by their mothers and not him. He also alleged that Muthaland Entertainment label owner Lance Stehr, is the one taking care of his children.
Their mother’s are taking care of them. He can’t even take care of himself. Lance will take care of them as he always has!

These comments made by the music exec, are worrisome especially to some of Zola’s fans who genuinely care about him. But worry not as TshisaLive got a hold of Zola’s personal assistant and Lance to set the record straight.
Siki Kunene, the pa said Nota’s comments are rubbish and that he is trying to cause unnecessary hype, “All those things he said are utter rubbish. He’s just trying to create hype over nothing.”
Not denying that Zola is sick and was diagnosed with epilepsy, the pa said he is taking his medication though, “The truth is Bonginkosi is fine. He’s got epilepsy. He is taking chronic medication for it.”
His health condition sparked panic amongst his fans especially when a picture of him went viral.
Zola 7 is not okay, apparently he has epilepsy and he is a also struggling. If you can reach out to help to lend a helping hand please do 😭 I know we as South Africans love and appreciate Zola 7, we will do anything to help him pic.twitter.com/SOIVIpF6Vv

To make matters worse, a “friend” of Zola’s created a foundation without his will and this caused many to assume that Zola Hashatsi was using Zola’s illness for his own personal gains.
After his death hoax, Cruz Afrika and Zola Hashatshi visited him at his home and even started a foundation in his honour.
But his management team does not know anything about this and slammed Zola for doing this.
“Z7 Media and Guluva Records herby distance themselves from this foundation. We have no knowledge whatsoever regarding the business of this foundation and we wish to further state that this foundation was established without knowledge of Bonginkosi Dlamini (Zola 7) or any of his staff,” the statement read.
“We, therefore, urge all South Africans and co-operates to not donate resources to this foundation. Bonginkosi and his staff would like to express disappointment at such a campaign and initiative as it borders on disrespect for him and using his brand for personal gains,” the statement continued.
