Nandi And Zakes Bantwini Celebrate Their Daughter's Birthday

Mzansi’s power couple, Nandi Madida and Zakes Bantwini, is celebrating their little daughter’s birthday and they can’t help but gush over her on Instagram by sharing the cutest videos of her ever.

Nandi shared a heartwarming birthday message to Queen Nefertiti who was named after the Egyptian Queen, Nefertiti. She posted a video of her playing with her brother Shaka in the car. Shaka is seen tingling her, making her laugh and he kisses her on her cheek. Nandi said she is grateful that Nefertiti and her brother are best friends and wished her a happy birthday as she hits another major milestone.

Zakes who is very proud of being a father to his little angel also shared a cute video that got us feeling all broody of him undoing his daughter’s hair and penned a sweet message to her, “I’m not a perfect Dad, but I’ll die trying. Having you as my daughter gives me so much love, joy, and pride. I love you my angel, happy birthday!” he wrote.

It is no secret that Zakes juggles many roles in his life, but that of being a father takes precedence and he does not shy away from sharing all the sweet moments they share.

The lovebirds have been married for a couple of years now and they are going strong. They have two beautiful kids and their love story will leave you in awe. In an interview with MacG Nandi revealed how they met.

“I met Zakes at the SAMA nomination party…and I remember he came a bit too hard. He was like I think you are so beautiful.” To which Nandi responded by saying “I love your music. I said to him you’re a genius at making music.”

Nandi revealed that they were friends for a while before they started dating. They recently celebrated their anniversary “Happy anniversary to us! 7 years together, 4 years married! We’re NOT goals, just two imperfect humans who love each other so much and enjoy doing this life thing together,” shared Nandi.

Nandi is one of Mzansi’s leading ladies in ZAlebville. She has seen her brand grow from strength to strength. From being a television host to becoming a singer and brand ambassador for brands such as Legit & Lux, it is evident that Nandi is a Jackie of all trades. Zakes is a successful musician, businessman, and an academic, who was recently accepted at Harvard Business School.
