Internationally renowned South African award-winning comedian and TV personality Trevor Noah is continuing to receive the recognition and the honor that he deserves.

The Daily Show host has scored himself a huge nomination. Trevor is nominated for Male Star of the Year at the third annual Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards.
The nominations for this year were announced this Wednesday, 2 June 2021. Trevor is nominated alongside RuPaul, Stanley Tucci, Guy Fieri, and Phil Rosenthal.
He recently took to Instagram to celebrate as his Daily Show scooped the MTV Movie & TV award. He thanked The Daily Show team and everyone for voting.
“When your friend passes you a note that says @thedailyshow just won an @MTV Movie & TV award & not 1, not 2, but 13 @thewebbyawards! š¤Æ Is this real life?! Wow! šš¾ A sincere THANK YOU to everyone that voted and way to go team Daily Show!,” he wrote.
A few weeks ago, Trevor announced that he is getting back on the comedy stage after almost a year. He posted a picture with a caption that reads: āWhen you havenāt been on stage in almost a year and Chappelle tells you itās time to get back on stage, you get back on stage! Few things in this life have meant more to me than having these two legends as my mentors and friends.Ā
“All 3 of us share a love for stand-up that only fellow comedians can truly understand, and itās easy to keep that love going when you get to share a stage with the greatest to ever do it! DC Itās time to get back on stage, letās do this people!ā
He shared another picture of himself seated at a bus stop in Miami followed by a somewhat motivating caption that read: “Life is like a bus stop. You find yourself waiting a lot. Sometimes there are people with you and sometimes there are not. And not all the buses are your bus but thereās a bus for everyone. All that matters is that we buy a ticket and get on.
“And sometimes youāre not sitting at a bus stop. Itās just a bench. Also, you can sit at a bus stop if youāre tired, you donāt have to catch the bus but the area is generally reserved for bus passengers. So technically sometimes you shouldnāt get on because you werenāt trying to catch the bus. You were just sitting there taking a picture because it looked nice.”
