Mome decides to stand by him
The wife of comedian and media personality Tol Ass Mo, Mome Maleqwa Mahlangu, stands by her husband amidst rape allegations.

In a post on Instagram, Mome made it clear that she supports her husband. Mome explained that their silence is not an admission of guilt but “choice to respect the law.”

“In 2014, I was sexually assaulted and raped by Mongezi ‘Tol Ass Mo’ Mahlangu while working on a television production in Paarl, Western Cape. For numerous reasons, I did not open a case at the time and only shared this experience with one of the other participants on the show.”
