The Sihle Ndaba Foundation, with the assistance of various partners and donors, is aimed at assisting in education at an elementary level. But the foundation has grown and has since given back to a family of 15 by building a home.
The Actress took to Instagram to share the heartwarming news of her foundation presenting an elderly couple a new home to live in. The couple had been raising 13 grandchildren in a one bedroom house.
“This weekend I had the honor of presenting Bab’ Khumalo, a 77 year old grandfather keys to a brand new home🏠 . Living in eMatiwane KZN, Mr and Mrs Khumalo have lost 8 of their children, leaving them to raise their 13 grandchildren in a small one bedroom home, with no indoor bathroom, running water or electricity.
“Even with heavy load they bear the Khumalo’s spread love, kindness at every turn. A family always willing to give,
whether it’s a meal to the contractors building their new home, their time to the local church or just an ear to listen.
I’m filled with so much joy and gratitude that we get to help ease the load for this incredible incredible family. ❤️ ” she wrote.
