Larger-than-life reality show star and astute entrepreneur Shauwn Mkhize, is on holiday mode because sis does not want to land herself in hot water with Black Twitter and law enforcement officials.

Shauwn who is living her best life in Dubai posted a series of Instagram posts giving us a glimpse of her vacay. In a post, she said she had to go on holiday because of the extended curfew announced by the country’s president Cyril Ramaphosa.

On Monday evening, the president moved the country to level 3 and implemented new lockdown restrictions. This is to limit super spreader events as the country coronavirus cases surge. The curfew has been extended from 9 pm to 4 am and Shauwn did not want to be locked up indoors.

In a post, she wished her followers a prosperous new year and thanked God for saving her life and protecting her family.

“Today is the last day of the horrible 2020, I had to leave my country as we were supposed to sleep at 9 o’clock and didn’t want to get in trouble with black Twitter and our SA LAWS, cause I am a serious case of ADD at least to have one thing positive I will talk about that happened in 2020 fireworks display I promise to share if I find it, I love you all ❤️❤️❤️❤️and stay safe 🤗🤗myworldmyrules#kwamamkhize. MOST IMPORTANTLY I WOULD LIKE TO THANK GOD FOR SAVING MYSELF AND MY FAMILY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR DURING THIS TRYING TIMES 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✊,” she wrote.

MamKhize recently received major backlash on social media after she was seen out and about attending events whilst the masses were avoiding super-spreader events to help flatten the curve of COVID-19. Social media users dragged her and she does not want to repeat the same mistake and she has opted to vacay in Dubai.

It seems Dubai is another favourite holiday destination to several celebrities as The Fergusons are currently taking over the country by storm. The power couple with their children, have been sharing their luxurious getaway through social media.

This is not the first time The Fergusons are on a vacation in Dubai. The country has clearly stolen their hearts because last year they were in Dubai as well. This is a much-deserved break to them especially after working tirelessly hard this year.

Today their eldest daughter Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson, is celebrating her birthday, and it is going to be a fantastic one as she is out and about, out of SA of course!
