Legendary actor Sello Maake Ka-Ncube is mourning another loss of a loved one. He took to Instagram to share the sad news with a statement.

He said the late Virginia Maake lost her battle against COVID-19.
The statement read: “It is with a sad heart and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Maake. She sadly succumbed to COVID_19 on the 1st of July.”
He thanked his fans for their support and prayers during this difficult time. He also shared that they will be having a family-only burial ceremony because of the lockdown regulations.
“We would like to thank you for your support thus far and due to COVID-19 regulations and our efforts in trying to keep everyone safe kindly note that we will be having a family-only ceremony. Your support and prayers are highly appreciated.”
This comes as a shock as the family recently lost another family member. Last month Maake Ka-Ncube announced the passing of his brother.
Sharing the sad news of his little brother’s passing, the former Scandal star said he was trying to come to terms with his sudden passing. He urged his followers to stay safe and adhere to COVID-19’s regulations.
“Sleep well my little brother, till we meet again Quinton! I’m still trying to come to terms with the news of your sudden passing!
“#Covid19 is not a myth! Keep safe and obey the regulations, they not guaranteed to save us but we stand a better chance at defeating this virus!” he tweeted.
Fans and other celebrities have shared their condolences for the legendary actor and his family.
Actress Gail Mabalane responded: “So sorry for your loss. 😪 Sincere condolences and strength to you and the family. 🙏🏾”

A few weeks ago, Maake Ka-Ncube announced the launch of his new Podcast. According to the statement released by his team, he partnered with Touch HD.
The statement read: “Touch HD has joined forces with the legendary Sello Maake ka-Ncube. Ntate Sello will be the host of a podcast series called “Open Up With Selo” on the Touch HD platform which will offer listeners a glimpse into the veteran actor’s most intimate thoughts.
“Although Ntate Sello has been in the television and film industry for over 40 years, he has shied away from the spotlight.
