Winnie Khumalo Reveals Daughter Rethabile Was Involved In A Car Accident

Winnie Khumalo has reported that her daughter Rethabile Khumalo was involved in a car and is badly injured.

Winnie confirmed the news on her Twitter account and has since received messages to console her and followers also wished Rethabile a speedy recovery.

The musician did not divulge any more details pertaining her accident, she only informed people of the state she is currently in and asked for prayers to help her heal faster.

“Hi friends. I would like to inform you that @Rethabile_rsa was in a car accident and she is badly hurt. Your prayers will be highly appreciated,” she pleaded.

The ex Idols SA contestant Rethabile, rose to fame by being the lead vocalist on the hit song Umlilo by DJ Zinhle. The energetic performer stunned many with her performance at the Idols stage, even after being eliminated from the competition.

Music definitely runs in the family as Rethabile’s career took off as early as 2008 when she was her mother’s backing vocalist and dancer in the year 2008.

Rethabile dropped her new single titled,”Hlonipha” recently, following the success of Umlilo and is soaring as a rising star.
