Priddy Ugly is currently on a winning streak in all fronts. From a rapper who was ridiculed for not being an accomplished musician, along with suggestions that he was being supported by his more successful wife, Bontle Modiselle. The rapper has not only showcased that he is a rapper’s-rapper, but he has also started to sway the public in terms of media persona as he continues to gear up for his much anticipated boxing match with Cassper Nyovest.

Priddy Ugly gets his flowers for his music

For years, Priddy Ugly was ridiculed for having a catalogue of music that did not have hits or tracks which are not memorable nor impactful. However, that narrative began to change when he released his 2021 critically acclaimed album SOiL. The album contained the contentious track Handful of Dust, which was a track which garnered attention as it was believed that the rapper was taking a swipe towards fellow Hip-Hop artist A-Reece.

On Friday, 2 September 2022, Priddy Ugly would build on his growing acclaim through the release of his seven-track EP, MUD. An EP which has already garnered him more acclaim as a lyricist as he tells stories with his raps from track one right until the end of the listening session of the album.

But as he continues to shine hard, so much so that his EP has been trending more than the release of his upcoming contenders diss track 4 Steps Back, which was released on the same day as Priddy’s EP.

Priddy Ugly applies pressure on Cassper Nyovest

Priddy Ugly and Cassper Nyovest are officially the headlining boxing match for the second celebrity boxing match created by Cassper Nyovest. Now that the contracts have seemingly been signed by both parties, it seems that intimidation tactics ahead of the match have already begun and fans fear for Cassper Nyovest.

Priddy Ugly has confirmed that he is already match-ready as he told Cassper Nyovest to lose weight in order for the match to actually happen. However, now he is applying pressure as he shares his journey so far ahead of the match in question.

Taking to Twitter, the rapper, husband and father of one shared a picture of himself and his sparring partner from Sparta Limelight in Maboneng, Johannesburg. The picture instilled a sense of confidence for boxing fans who are looking forward to the match as Priddy Ugly’s physique was the most defined of the people he is in the picture with, suggesting that Cassper is set to be naak’ed out.

But Cassper seems arrogant as ever, this is as despite more and more people becoming team Priddy Ugly, he seems sure of himself and that this time he will win unlike the “technical” loss he suffered with NaakMusiQ. A fact which many suggest is more reason that Priddy Ugly should win the match to settle the issue once and for all.
