Pearl Thusi takes an Instagram hiatus
After returning to Los Angeles, Pearl Thusi was able to have a South African experience in the city. This is as she first met up with friend and internationally acclaimed producer-DJ Black Coffee. Thereafter, through their shared agent she was able to spend a couple of days with Netflix’s
Savage lead Rosemary Zimu and
The Woman King’s Thuso Mbedu.
However, it seems that Pearl might be working on something big with Netflix International. This is as she recently took to Instagram to announce her upcoming hiatus from the app. Moreover, she did express that the hiatus was indefinite as she was uncertain as to when she was set to return to the app.
Given that there has not been any drama surrounding Pearl and her posts on Instagram, it can be supposed that the hiatus might have to do with her needing to keep whatever project she is working on from the media. In the past, Pearl was already touted to work with Netflix International.
This is as back in May 2022, American actor Arnold Vosloo had taken to social media to wish Pearl a happy birthday. Moreover, he hinted at the fact that the two were booked to film an upcoming film together and he could not wait to see her on set.
But currently, it is all speculation given that Pearl has decided to keep mum as to the reason for her hiatus on social media, Moreover, given how much time it usually takes for any production to wrap, it might be three to six months until Pearl’s followers see anything new posted from her unless it is content about her gin company, Black Rose.
