Wow! Who would have thought
that Nonhle Thema would ever lose interest in the spotlight?
The TV personality has pretty
much done a lot of impressive things in her career.
As the host of Channel O’s O Access, Nonhle travelled the world to interview some of the biggest stars including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Chris Brown and others. She even had her own reality show on Vuzu called Nonhle Goes to Hollywood, which documented her life in the land of the rich and famous.
These days, however, the mother of one is very low key.
Although she’s not all over our TV screens anymore, she’s still one of the most memorable stars this generation has had. Nonhle is one of the many celebs featured in Nicky Greenwall’s I’m Famous in South Africa book.
The book includes portraits of local stars and excerpts of their interviews on Nicky’s The Close up. The former presenter shared a snap of herself holding the book and in her caption, she revealed that she’s no longer interested in fame.

She wrote: “Pretty cool to be in the book…even though I’ve grown up and I’m no longer that interested in being famous. I still feel blessed to be included in the book #ImFamousInSA Thank you @nickygreenwall this is one I shall tell my grandkids about. Blessed.”
Well then, this explains why we haven’t been seeing her on
the telly lately.
