Natasha Thahane Stars In Netflix’s Blood And Water
Netflix is set to debut another African original globally, Blood & Water – a young adult drama series set in Cape Town, South Africa.

The series has a female-led cast featuring some of Mzansi freshest faces such as Natasha Thahane, Cindy Mahlangu, Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, and Gail Mabalane.

Blood & Water is directed by Nosipho Dumisa who directed film Nommer 37.

The series will take viewers on a journey of mystery as it tells the tale of Puleng Khumalo. A 16-year-old gets herself transferred to the same high school as a girl whom she suspects is her sister, who was kidnapped at birth 17 years earlier.

News of the new series has trended on social media with some people questioning why actually teenagers were not cast for the roles, however, some tweeps were quick to critics reminding them that the cast was perfect for the roles.
