Mpho Maboi & Reneilwe Letsholonyane's traditional ceremony

The couple has made it official by celebrating their traditional wedding ceremony.

In December 2017, Mpho Maboi surprised many when she announced on Metro FM’s Fresh Breakfast show that she was officially married to soccer star – Reneilwe Letsholonyane.

In previous interviews, Mpho has shared that she and Reneilwe were not in a rush to get married.

“For me, I feel like it’s not the endpoint for everyone. Not everybody wants to get married, the whole marriage thing, can we not shove it down people’s throats?”

She then went on to say; “we’ll get married when we get married IF we choose to get married. For all I know this (Reneilwe) could be my life partner and I’m content with that.” She explained.

Fast forward to December 2017 the couple then sealed the deal, then over the weekend, Mpho was then traditionally welcomed into the Letsholonyane family.

“I embrace all that my human comes with. Including his culture. Yesterday I was welcomed by my in-laws and got my new Setswana name (No I won’t share it here)

He is mine and I am his.” She wrote on her Instagram account.
